When I look back on 10 years of RiskVersity, I can’t help but feel grateful — and a little amazed. What started as a vision rooted in faith, values, and the belief that risk management could be done differently has grown into something bigger than I imagined. I want to pause and reflect on what has carried us here.
- Why We Started
Back in 2015, we set out to help organizations growt through controlled risk. We believed risk management wasn’t just about checking boxes — it was about protecting people, building trust, and helping businesses thrive. That purpose still drives us today.
- Living Our Values
From the beginning, our foundation has been Christian values: honesty, integrity, and service to others. There have been moments when those values were tested, but I’m proud that we’ve held onto them as our compass in every decision.
- Celebrating Milestones
We’ve grown from a startup idea to a company with offices in Cincinnati, Greensboro, and Charlotte with additional personnel in Austin and Nashville. We’ve launched new solutions like CyberSure and expanded internationally. Those milestones matter, but more importantly, they represent the lives and organizations we’ves impacted.
- Learning From Challenges
Not every step was perfect. We’ve faced setbacks, shifts in the market, and lessons we could only learn the hard way. But each misstep sharpened our focus, taught us humility, and made us better partners to our clients.
- Building a Team and Culture
The heart of RiskVersity is our people. I’ve been blessed to work with a team that embodies our values every day — serving clients with excellence, supporting one another, and pushing the boundaries of what we can deliver.
- Serving Clients Well
The best feedback I’ve received wasn’t about signed contracts or delivered services— it has been hearing clients say they feel safer, more confident, and more prepared because of our contributions. That’s the kind of impact that reminds us why we’re here.
- Championing Equity and Inclusion
Our commitment to justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion isn’t just a service offering — it’s part of who we are. As a minority-owned business, we know representation matters, and we’ve worked to make sure our clients and our community see that in action.
- Staying Ahead of Change
The risk landscape looks very different than it did a decade ago. Cybersecurity threats, supply chain risks, and global uncertainties keep evolving. I’m proud that our team members have remained innovative, creatively adapting our services and tools to keep our clients one step ahead of these changes.
- Building for the Long Term
Growth is great, but what matters most is sustainability. We’re building for for the next generation of leaders who will carry RiskVersity forward with the same commitment to values and service.
- Gratitude and Purpose
At the end of the day, I’m grateful — for our clients, partners, team members, and community. You’ve trusted us, supported us, and walked this journey with us. Looking ahead, I’m more energized than ever to keep building intentionally, serving faithfully, and living out our values in everything we do.
Here’s to the next 10 years of RiskVersity!
