Patty has previously worked as the Global Insurance and Risk Director of a leading transportation company for 13 years. Her responsibilities included supporting 5 transportation operations (3 in North America and 2 in the United Kingdom with 100,000 employees and 60,000 power units and 4 rail franchises).
She and her team determined and recommended the insurance structure to the global CEO and Board, managed the insurance reserve balance sheet, analyzed loss data to develop strategies to reduce loss frequency and severity, and supported new business growth. Prior to that Patty was a Branch Manager with several insurance companies. Ms. Furterer earned her B.A. degree from Thomas More University and her MBA degree in international business from Xavier University.
